Bias-Free Language

The documentation set for this product strives to use bias-free language. For the purposes of this documentation set, bias-free is defined as language that does not imply discrimination based on age, disability, gender, racial identity, ethnic identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and intersectionality. Monitoring AP Join, QoS, and Multicast Statistics

Choose Monitoring > Statistics > AP Join to view the status of an AP.

Parameter Description
Base MAC The base radio MAC address of an access point.
Ethernet MAC The Ethernet MAC address of an access point.
AP Name The name of the access point.
IP Address The IP address of the access point.
Status

The status of the access point. Values are as follows:

  • Joined
  • Not Joined

Choose Monitoring > Statistics > QoS and specify details in the fields below to view the QoS information of an AP.

Parameter Description
SSID The SSID of the WLAN.
Radio Type The radio type associated with the network. Valid values are 802.11a/n/ac or 802.11b/g/n.
AP Name The name of the access point.

Choose Monitoring > Statistics > Multicast and specify details in the fields below to view the multicast information for a device.

Layer 2

Parameter Description
VLANID The VLAN identifier.
Broadcast The broadcast status used to broadcast packets for wireless clients to broadcast traffic for each VLAN. It is disabled by default.
NonIP-Multicast The status of the non-IP multicast used for traffic to pass between two non-IP multicast areas. It is enabled by default.
Multicast The status of the multicast traffic used for wireless clients. It is disabled by default.
MGID The Layer 2 multicast group ID. MGID is generated using the multicast VLAN and multicast IP addresses.

Layer 3

Parameter Description
Index The multicast index
MGID The Layer 3 multicast group ID. MGID is generated using the multicast VLAN and multicast IP addresses.
S,G,V The Source, Group and VLAN corresponding to the MGID value.
