The YANG models/API for the different UAS roles (AutoIT, AutoDeploy, and AutoVNF) have been revised to drive improvements and consistency.
In previous software releases, there were YANG model variants based for each of the different UAS roles. These have been consolidated and enhanced to better align with ETSI Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV); Management and Orchestration (ETSI GS NFV-MAN 001). In this release, there is a single model and it adapts to the mentioned UAS roles.
A network service-level transaction can spawn in several other transactions as the case for AutoDeploy. The transaction IDs are created in hierarchical manner separated by “/” hence the top-most ID represents the service-level transaction ID. When the transaction logs are to be fetched or cleared, it acts on the complete tree starting the transaction ID as root.
The updated YANG Models/APIs and UAS roles are fully described in the Cisco Ultra Services Platform NETCONF API Guide.
