Uninstall Cisco VXC Manager
When using a Microsoft Windows remove program feature (such as Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features) to remove Cisco VXC Manager, the database server will require login credentials to complete the uninstallation of Cisco VXC Manager.
Figure 1. Database Server Login Credentials
Depending on your Cisco VXC Manager installation, do one of the following:
If you had Cisco VXC Manager install the default Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express (32-bit) as your database server, enter sa in the Login ID field and enter ThinMgmt_451 in the Password field.
If you used an existing database server during your Cisco VXC Manager installation (that is, any supported database server that is not installed by Cisco VXC Manager during the Cisco VXC Manager installation, see Software Requirements and Cisco VXC Manager Database Installation Tips), enter sa in the Login ID field and your password for that server.
At the end of the uninstall process, the wizard prompts you to restart. Choose the Yes, I want to restart my computer now option and click Finish.
Figure 2. Microsoft Data Execution Prevention Message - Example
If you see Microsoft data execution prevention and IIS error messages after server restart, you must complete the additional steps that follow to remove the RapportFilter entry from IIS manually.
Figure 3. IIS Error Message - Example
Open the IIS Web Sites Properties dialog box (according to the IIS documentation for your server version).
Figure 4. Remove the RapportFilter entry from IIS - example
On the ISAPI Filters tab, choose RapportFilter from the list, click Remove, confirm, and then click OK.
After removing the RapportFilter entry from IIS, restart the server. You should no longer see Microsoft data execution prevention and IIS error messages after server restart.
