Cisco Prime Collaboration Dashboards and Reports

The Cisco Prime Collaboration dashboards provide consolidated information for devices, applications, and endpoints.

With these dashboards, you can:

  • Monitor all endpoints for a user using a single interface.

  • Determine service experience for all endpoints.

With Cisco Prime Collaboration Release 11.5 and later, you can determine Call Quality for all endpoints.

For data to be populated in the dashboards, you must complete the following tasks:
  • Discover the devices

  • Import the conference (for Conference-related dashboards)

  • Poll the devices

The Cisco Prime Collaboration report identifies problem areas, locates most commonly used and least used endpoints, and determines ideal locations and required endpoint types for future deployment.

The table provides the list of dashboard features and the report types in the Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance.

Performance page displays system-defined dashboards based on the performance counters.

View Historical Trends Troubleshoot File Download Issues

Historical trending is enabled by default for the dashlets (CPU Usage, Virtual Memory Usage, and Common Partition Usage) under the System Summary dashboard. Click Zoom at the bottom-right corner of the dashlet to view the Trend View graph.

Create Custom Performance Dashboards

Provides details on critical performance metrics of each managed element.

You can add customized dashboards in the home page (Network Health Overview > Performance); either in the graphical view (limited to 6 counters) or tabular view (up to 50 counters). By default, the graphical view is enabled. The Min., Max., and Avg. values for the counters are also displayed.

Cisco HCS Licensing Reporting

Cisco HCS Licensing reports the consumption of both perpetual and flex license types. The consumption report of both license types are available in HLM, PLM, and Service Inventory. The following sections outline how to access the reports and what they contain.

HLM Reporting

HLM reports are accessed through the HCM-F GUI. By expanding the License Management panel, you can select License Reports.

Figure 1. HLM License Reports

You will have the option to generate and download the report as either a .csv or Excel file. The file contains information on each customer in the system and includes the following information:

  • Customer Name

  • Tenants

  • Reseller Name

  • LM Name

  • License types: Basic, CUWL Standard, Enhanced, Enhanced Plus, Essential

PLM Reporting

PLM reporting provides license reports of clusters. This means that if you have multiple coresident PLMs supporting multiple customers you will have to run reports from each coresident PLM. To view the status of the licenses for a customer, navigate to Fulfillment>License Fulfillment. The License Fulfillment displays the various subscription licenses that the customer has along with their expiration date.

Figure 2. PLM License Details

Service Inventory Reporting

The service inventory report includes:

  • Subscriber License: It contains the information on license usage of subscribers, devices associated with a subscriber, and lines associated with phones.

  • PLM License: It contains the information on PLM server details, license usages such as license type, installed licenses, required licenses, and available licenses.

  • Customer License: It contains the information on PLM server details with the customer level hierarchy, license types, and number of licenses used by customers from cluster applications.

  • Site License: It contains the site level licensing details which include the information on license usages such as license type, and license count with each hierarchy of sites.
