Perform the following tasks before installation:
Step 1 | On the vSphere client, right-click on the VVB VM and select Edit Settings. | ||
Step 2 | In CD/DVD drive 1, select Datastore ISO File. | ||
Step 3 | Click Connect At Power On. | ||
Step 4 | Under VM Options tab, enable Boot Option for Failed Boot Recovery and then click OK. | ||
Step 5 | Click Power on the virtual machine. | ||
Step 6 | The installer checks the integrity of the ISO image before beginning the installation. Click Yes to perform a media check. | ||
Step 7 | Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
installation. Enter the basic configuration information as described in
Server Configuration Information for Installation
.

Unattended installation performs installation silently using a configuration file that includes all the input parameters. Use Cisco Unified Communications Answer File Generator to generate answer files for unattended installations of Cisco VVB.
