VDS-IS Software application versions 4.1.2 b2 and 4.2.1b8 are not compatible with the latest CDE280 BIOS firmware version. The software versions will not be detecting the internal disks and so Cisco requires the customers to follow the next process.
Cisco Customers that deploy CDE280 need to upgrade VDS-IS software using image or patch and upgrade the CDE280 BIOS firmware to version 2.09a.
The following changes indicate that the CDE280 has the latest approved firmware.
Check the BIOS version of the CDE280 device, using the CLI – show tech-support in the VDS-IS application.
