The Generate Self-Signed Certificate and Certificate Signing Request option allows you to generate the self-signed SSL certificate. Starting with this release, Cisco UCS Director requires a self-signed SSL certificate. When you install Cisco UCS Director Release 6.7, the system checks if there is a self-signed certificate available or not. If there is no certificate available, when the administrator user logs in to the user interface, the systems prompts the user to generate the self-signed certificate. |
