Monitors and Rules for UCS Faults in the Management Pack

This appendix provides information related to the available monitors for UCS faults in the management pack.

It includes UCS faults collected by the monitors which are enabled by default and faults which can be enabled later. It also provides list of UCS faults which are collected by the Generate Critical and Warning Miscellaneous Faults Event Rules.

This appendix contains the following sections:

• Enabled Monitors for UCS Faults
• Disabled Monitors for UCS Faults
• Miscellaneous Faults

Enabled Monitors for UCS Faults

The following table provides list of UCS faults collected by the monitors which are enabled by default.

Disabled Monitors for UCS Faults

The following table provides list of UCS faults for which the monitors are disabled by default. These faults are visible in the operations manager console when corresponding monitor is enabled in the management pack. Miscellaneous Faults

The components which are not monitored using the Operations Manager monitors, the miscellaneous alert rules fetch the faults and display on the Operations Console. The following are the two types of rules that can be enabled:

• Generate Critical Miscellaneous Fault Event Rule—This rule captures all the major and critical faults from the UCS Manager.
• Generate Warning Miscellaneous Fault Event Rule—This rule captures all the minor and warning faults from the UCS Manager.
