Introduction

Cisco UCS Central PowerTool is a PowerShell module which helps automate aspects of Cisco UCS Central using XML APIs. Cisco UCS Central PowerTool enables easy integration with existing IT management processes and tools.

The Cisco UCS Central PowerTool cmdlets work on the Cisco UCS Central Management Information Tree (MIT). The cmdlets allow you to perform create, modify, or delete actions on the Managed Objects (MOs) in the MIT.

Note Cisco UCS Central PowerTool can co-exist with Cisco UCS Manager PowerTool enabling management of the entire UCS environment.

New Features

Known Limitations

The following are the known limitations for Release 1.0.1:

• Sync-UcsCentralManagedObject cmdlet might fail on sending a XML request for configuring managed object of different providers.
• The output of ConvertTo-UcsCentralCmdlet might fail if it has managed object of different providers within a transaction.
• Executing Add-UcsCentralAaaDomainGroup without providing DomainGroupDn parameter value does not assign the domain group to the locale. Also, an empty record or a line is created in the assigned domain group’s UI.
