In the switch command line
interface, use the
console_speed_setup.sh command to locally
configure the console settings.
When you configure the settings from the console, the new settings
take effect immediately. When you configure the settings from an SSH session,
the new settings take effect upon the next switch reboot.
The following example shows the use of the command. To change a
y and follow the prompts. To view the
settings without making changes, type
n to every question.
Configure the Baud rate? (yes/no) [y]: n
Configure the Databits? (yes/no) [y]: n
Configure the Parity? (yes/no) [y]: n
Configure the Stop bits? (yes/no) [y]: n
These are the new settings
Serial parameters become effective immediately on serial console
For SSH session, the serial parameters will take effect on the next reboot
/isan/utils/cmosio -w console 12.3
/bin/stty 115200 cs8 -cstopb
Would you like to proceed? (yes/no) [n]: n
