This chapter provides an overview of the feeds.
The feeds are used in the various Enterprise Mobility Services Platform Studio modules, especially Contents and Feeds modules. A Feed Editor option is available in the main window of the Cisco Enterprise Mobility Services Platform with which you can create feeds. For more information how to create a feed using the Enterprise Mobility Services Platform, refer to the Cisco Enterprise Mobility Services Platform Studio Configuration Guide.
Description and Short Description in Feeds
For all of the feed-based modules, feeds can be created using the Cisco Feed Editor.
When the user goes to the inner page, more content is displayed from the feed. This may be entered in the Feed Editor under Description.
The following are some of the specifications related to description:
- We do not remove the description part on the Stories module (inner page).
- Description supports the following HTML tags: <a href>, <p>, <br>, <img>, <b>, <em>, <strong>.
Note The <img> tag is not supported for the Picture Gallery and Videos modules.
Note Only 150 characters are allowed for short description. If the number of characters are more than 150, then the content from 147th character onwards will be stripped and changed to three dots (Ex: mod..).
Note Short description does not support any HTML tags.
