User Configuration for Tetration SaaS
Note that when Tetration agents are deployed for access to a Tetration SaaS cluster (also referred to as a TaaS), they need
some extra information in order to properly register with the backend services. This information is in a file named
user.cfg which is found in the Tetration Agent installation folder (for example,
/usr/local/tet on Linux, or
C:\Program Files\Cisco Tetration on Windows). The file contains a list of variables in the form of
key=value pairs, one on each line.
In order for the agents to be able to register to the TaaS cluster, they need to be provided with the cluster activation key.
The activation key can be retrieved from the Software Agent Download tab on the Agent Config page, by clicking the Agent Activation Key button. The key then needs to be added to the
user.cfg file via the

ACTIVATION_KEY accordingly for each customer, meaning you do not need to manually update this value in the
In case a proxy is needed to reach the TaaS cluster, the proxy-access information needs to be passed to the agents through
