The Cisco Physical Access Control Release 1.5.1 is backward compatible with the Cisco Physical Access Control 1.5.0. Users using earlier versions of CPAM should upgrade to version 1.3.2, and to 1.5.1. The services that worked with Cisco Physical Access Control 1.5.0 continue to work with Access Control 1.5.1.
This chapter summarizes the new and changed features in the Cisco Physical Access Control 1.5.1 release, and provides information on where the feature is documented. Gateway Firmware Backward Compatibility
CPAM version 1.5.1 is backward compatible with gateways running firmware version 1.5.0(0.3.17) i.e.
Gateways with version 1.5.0(0.3.17) works on CPAM version 1.5.1 without upgrading the gateway’s
firmware. However, gateways running any other older firmware versions (1.3.2 to 1.4.1) have to be
upgraded to 1.5.0 or 1.5.1.

In CPAM 1.5.1, CSV import of 500 records in MSP 1-RU platform and CSV import of 1000 records in OVA platform are recommended. In CPAM 1.5.1, CSV import of 500 records in MSP 1-RU platform and CSV import of 1000 records in OVA platform are recommended.

The gateway can be upgraded through web admin in Internet explorer 8.0 or above only if TLS 1.1 is enabled in the IE browser’s settings. To enable TLS 1.1, choose Tools > Internet Options > Advanced> Security, uncheck the Use TLS 1.0 check box, and check Use TLS 1.1 check box.
