Audience
This guide is for experienced network security administrators who install and maintain Cisco IPS sensors, including the supported IPS appliances and modules.

Before installing IPS sensors, read the regulatory compliance and safety information documents. These documents contain important safety information, such as the international agency compliance and safety information for the sensor. It also includes translations of the safety warnings.
