Bias-Free Language

The documentation set for this product strives to use bias-free language. For the purposes of this documentation set, bias-free is defined as language that does not imply discrimination based on age, disability, gender, racial identity, ethnic identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and intersectionality. Introduction

This Release Notes document provides information about the new features in Cisco VTS 2.1.5. It also describes how to access information about the known and resolved issues in Cisco VTS 2.1.5, using Cisco Bug Search Tool.

Cisco VTS Features

Cisco VTS 2.1.5 supports the following new features:

  • OpenStack Liberty Support—Cisco VTS supports OpenStack Liberty on CentOS.

  • Route Templates—A route template is a template that lets you easily configure static routes and route targets. These templates can be applied to a tenant or a router. See the Managing Templates chapter in the Cisco VTS 2.1.5 User Guide for details about creating and managing route templates.

  • Port Channel Support—A port channel is an aggregation of multiple physical interfaces that creates a logical interface. You can bundle up to sixteen individual active links into a port channel to provide increased bandwidth and redundancy. Port channeling also load balances traffic across these physical interfaces.

  • Bridge Group Virtual Interface (BVI) automation on DCI (Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers). See the Assigning BVI Interface IP Address section in the Cisco VTS 2.1.5 User Guide, for details.

Limitations and Restrictions

This release has the following limitations / restrictions:

  • Template management feature is supported in a setup that has only Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers as DCI. Only integrated DCI mode is supported. VRF-peering mode is not supported.

  • XRNC VM needs to be restarted to complete the registration of XRNC with VTC.

Using the Cisco Bug Search Tool

Use the Bug Search tool to search for a specific bug or to search for all bugs in a release.

Procedure
    Step 1   Go to Bug Search Tools & Resources on Cisco.com.
    Step 2   At the Log In screen, enter your registered Cisco.com username and password; then, click Log In. The Bug Search page opens.
    Note   

    If you do not have a Cisco.com username and password, you can register for them at https:/​/​tools.cisco.com/​IDREG/​guestRegistration.do.

    Step 3   To search for a specific bug, enter the bug ID in the Search For field and press Return.
    Step 4   To search for bugs in the current release:

    Click the Search Bugs tab and specify the following criteria:

    1. In the Search For field, enter product name and press Return. (Leave the other fields empty.)
    2. When the search results are displayed, use the filter tools to find the types of bugs you are looking for. You can search for bugs by status, severity, modified date, and so forth.

      To export the results to a spreadsheet, click the Export All to Spreadsheet link.
