Permanently remove a Crosswork Data Gateway VM from vCenter using the vSphere Web Client.
Use this task when you need to delete a Crosswork Data Gateway VM from your vCenter environment. Deleting the VM permanently erases all data associated with that instance.
Deleting the VM will permanently remove all Crosswork Data Gateway data.
Before you begin
Ensure you have deleted the Crosswork Data Gateway from Crosswork Cloud. For details, see Delete Crosswork Data Gateways in the respective Crosswork Cloud application user guide.
Procedure
| 1. | Access the VMware vSphere Web Client and log in. |

| 2. | In the Navigator pane, right-click the app VM you wish to delete, and select Power > Power Off. |
|
| 3. | Once the VM is powered off, right-click the VM again and select Delete from Disk. The VM will be permanently deleted. |
The selected VM and all its data are permanently removed from the vCenter environment.
What to do next
Verify that the VM no longer appears in the vSphere inventory and confirm that required data has been retained elsewhere, if needed.
