Security Device Manager Overview

The Cisco Router and Security Device Manager (SDM) is an intuitive, graphical user interface. Cisco SDM allows you to easily configure and monitor advanced IP-based QoS functionality on Cisco routers.

Cisco SDM provides integrated management of Cisco IOS features like the following:

•Wide-area network (WAN) access

•Dynamic routing

•IPSec virtual private networks (VPNs)

•Firewalls

•Intrusion prevention
