Container Groups

Creating Test Containers

  1. Click on the Container Groups tab.

  2. Under the Create Container Groups tab, click on Create Container Group and complete the following fields:

    Field

    Description

    Container Name

    Name of the Container Group.

    Total Container across all nodes field

    The number of containers you need to run. (Minimum 1)

    Disk size/container (GB) field

    The size assigned to each container.

    Distribute Container Equally

    Containers are deloyed equally across all nodes.

    HX Cluster Type Credentials

    Hx Connect IP Address

    The HX Connect IP Address.

    Hx Connect username

    The HX Connect username.

    Hx Connect password

    The HX Connect password.

    vSphere Cluster Type Credentials

    vCenter Connect DNS/IP

    The vCenter Ip Address.

    vCenter Connect Username

    The vCenter username.

    vCenter Connect Password

    The vCenter password.

    Storage Class

    Existing

    If you want to use existing storage class, then click existing and select the storage class from Storage Class Names

    New

    If you want to create new storage class, then click on new and select the datastore.

    Note 

    If you want to create a new storage class you must select a datastore.

    Datastore (Required for a new Storage class)

    Existing

    If you want to go with existing datastore, then click existing -> Fetch Datastore and select the data store from dropdown list.

    New

    If you want to create new Datastore, then click on new and enter the datastore name and size (HX support only).

    Note 

    vSphere does not support creating a new datastore.

  3. Click Save.

Container Group Deletion

To delete a container group from the groups page perform the following steps:

  1. Click Delete Group. The Delete Confirm window appears.

  2. Click Confirm to complete the action.

To delete a container group from the (…) menu, perform the following steps:

  1. Container groups > container group name > > Delete Group.

  2. Confirm the action.
