Configuring HX Bench

Log in to HX Bench

  1. Enter the IP address along with the port group number in a web browser which was generated after the HX Bench pod deployment. The log in page appears.

  2. Type appadmin in the username field

  3. Type the generated password into the Password field.

  4. Click Sign In. The Disclaimer page appears, click the Agree button.

Upload Vdbench

  1. Use the link in the Upload Vdbench page to download the Vdbench tool.

  2. Click the Browse button to navigate to the download location of the vdbench50407.zip file.

  3. Click the Upload button to upload the file to the HX Bench controller.


    Note

    Uploading Vdbench software to the HX Bench controller is a one-time activity.

  4. Click Next to advance to the Add Master Node page.

Add Master Node


Note
The Password field only appears when Password Based Authentication is selected.

  1. Complete the following fields:

    • Master Node IP

    • UserName

    • Password

  2. Click Next.

Link Worker Nodes

  1. Complete the following fields:

    • UserName

    • Password

  2. Click Save.
