Explains how border leaf switches redistribute eligible L3Out routes into the MP-BGP IPv4 and IPv6 address families for distribution across the ACI fabric.
Interleak redistribution adds eligible L3Out routes and their VRF information to the MP-BGP IPv4 and IPv6 address families on a border leaf switch. Spine switches then distribute the routes to other leaf switches.
-
Redistributes routes learned through dynamic routing protocols other than BGP.
-
Redistributes static routes and directly connected L3Out interface subnets.
-
Does not redistribute BGP routes because they are already prepared for export to the MP-BGP VPNv4 or VPNv6 address family.
-
Supports route maps that filter redistributed routes and set attributes such as BGP community, preference, and metric.
Interleak redistribution support by release
Interleak redistribution supports these route-map capabilities:
-
OSPF and EIGRP route redistribution supports route maps.
-
Beginning with Cisco APIC release 4.2(1), static-route redistribution supports route maps.
-
Beginning with Cisco APIC release 5.1(4), directly connected subnet redistribution supports route maps.
-
Beginning with Cisco APIC release 5.1(4), route maps for static routes and directly connected subnets support the Deny action.
