Configures a QoS priority or custom QoS policy directly on an L3Out interface by using the GUI in Cisco APIC release 4.0(1) or later.

Beginning with Cisco APIC release 4.0(1), direct L3Out QoS configuration is preferred over contract-based configuration.

Before you begin

Create the routed network, logical node profile, and logical interface profile if they do not exist.

Procedure

  1. From the menu bar, choose Tenants > tenant_name .

  2. In the Navigation pane, expand Tenant tenant_name > Networking > L3Outs > routed_network_name > Logical Node Profiles > node_profile_name > Logical Interface Profiles > interface_profile_name .

  3. In the Work pane, configure L3Out QoS by using one of the following options:

    • To use a standard QoS level, select a priority from the QoS Priority list.

    • To use a custom QoS policy, select an existing policy or create a policy from the Custom QoS Policy list.

The selected QoS configuration is applied directly to the L3Out interface.
