Return reserved licenses to the license pool when you move licenses, replace a cluster, or switch from offline reservation to online licensing.
Use this task to release reserved licenses from the current Crosswork instance.
Disable offline reservation when you switch to online licensing, decommission or replace a cluster, move a deployment to a different data center, or complete a forklift migration to a new Crosswork release.
After the licenses are released, Crosswork moves to evaluation mode if evaluation time remains. If the evaluation period has expired, Crosswork moves to Evaluation Expired mode.
Procedure
| 1. | Choose , and note the Product Instance Name. |

| 2. | Click Actions, and then click Disable License Reservation. |
|
| 3. | In the confirmation dialog box, click Confirm. Crosswork generates a Reservation Return Code. |
|
| 4. | Copy the Reservation Return Code. |
|
| 5. | In Cisco Smart Software Manager (CSSM), remove the reservation from the required product instance.
|
|
| 6. | Return to the Smart Licenses page in Crosswork and confirm that the registration status is Unregistered. |
