Cisco Service Control Application for Broadband Download Guide, Release 4.1.x
Revised: December 23, 2013, OL-30637-011 Overview
The following instructions explain how to download the various components of the Service Control Solution from the Cisco software download center.
The Cisco Service Control Solution is composed out of several components that are available on the Cisco center for customer download. These components are:
•
Cisco Service Control Application for Broadband (Cisco SCA BB)
•
Cisco Service Control Operating System (SCOS)
•
Cisco Service Control Collection Manager (SCMS CM)
•
Cisco Service Control Subscriber Manager (SCMS SM)
Before downloading new software, refer to the "Compatibility Matrix" section below and read the release notes of the various components. The "Compatibility Matrix" section provides information regarding the compatibility between various Service Control components and versions. These guidelines must be adhered to when installing new software.
After you have downloaded the new software, see the Installation Guide located in the Cisco SCA BB package for a step-by-step description of how to install the solution.
2 Compatibility Matrix
The following tables provides the compatibility information for the various components of the Service Control Solution:
•
Table 1—4.x release train
•
Table 2—3.x release train
•
Table 3—2.x release train
For each SCA BB revision, the list of compatible versions of the Cisco SCOS, Cisco SCMS CM, Cisco SCA Reporter and Cisco SCMS SM are listed.
We recommend using the latest revision available for each category unless otherwise noted.
