Firmware Upgrade on AP541N Access Point
A firmware upgrade combines both new software updates and hardware drivers for a device. This allows you to increase the performance and features of a device and in part your network. It helps to fix bugs and other intermittent issues that were previously present on router. In the AP541N there are two images of the firmware. One of them is current or primary image and the other is the backup or secondary image. The primary image can be switched for the background image if the primary one fails.
This article explains how to upgrade the software and switch the active firmware image with the backup one on an AP541N Access Point.
Step 2. Click the Choose File button. After selection, the file name will appear beside the Choose File button. Skip to Step 5.
Note: The firmware should be downloaded to the local computer beforehand. Click here for the link to download software
Timesaver: If you have chosen HTTP in Step 1, skip Step 3 and Step 4. Jump to Step 5.
