An Access Control List (ACL) is the list of access rights each user has to a particular system object. In the Administration Access Control page, an ACL with up to five IPv4 entries can be created, and only these entries are authorized to access the Access Point management interface by Telnet, SSH, Web, or SNMP.
This article explains how to create the ACL on an AP541N Wireless-N Access Point.

Step 2. In the Management ACL Mode field, click the Enabled radio button to enable the access control. Authorized users can have Web, Telnet, SSH, and SNMP access to the management interface. By default it is disabled.
Note: If it is disabled, anyone from any network can access the management interface with the login credentials.
Step 3. In the IP Address fields enter the IP addresses which can have management access to the access point. You can enter up to 5 IP addresses. At least one IP address has to be entered when ACL mode is enabled.
Step 4. Click Apply to save the new settings.
