Configure Ring Type on SPA500 and SPA300 Series

Objectives

The SPA500 and SPA300 IP phone allows you to change the ring type (or ring tone) from a list of tones already included in the phone. This document explains how to change the ring type on the SPA500 and SPA300.

Configure Ring Types

Step 1. Press the Setup button to open the Setup menu.

Step 2. Navigate to Settings and press Select using the soft-key.

Step 3. Navigate to Ring Type and press Select using the soft-key.

Step 4. Press Select to display the ring type options.

Step 5. Navigate through the different ring types and press Play to listen to various tones.

Step 6. Once you have found the desired tone, press Select using the soft-key to set it as your ring type.

Step 7. Press Default using the soft-key to make the selected ring type your default ring type.
