This document explains how to reboot the ESW2-350G switch immediately or on specific days and times and how to reset the switch to the factory default settings.
A reboot is needed when a system hangs up or to refresh all the applications and services on the switch. A periodic reboot is recommended for optimal performance. A reboot can be used for maintenance or for trouble shooting purpose too. Factory default reset is used to remove configuration settings on the network device and to restore it to the original default settings.

Step 1. Log in to the switch configuration utility and choose Administration > Reboot. The Reboot page opens:
Step 2. (Optional) Check the Clear Startup Configuration File check box to clear the startup configuration from the flash of the switch.
Note: The above option is only available in the immediate reboot only.
Step 3. Click the desired radio button in the Reboot field.
• Immediate — This option for rebooting the device immediately.
• Date and time — This option allows the administrator to configure on which day of a year and time the switch needs to reboot.
• In, Days, Hours and Minutes — This options allows the administrator to configure in how many days , hours and minutes the switch needs to reboot.
Step 4. Click Reboot to apply the settings and click Ok in the pop up windows.
Note: Factory Defaults deletes all the startup configuration and running configuration on the switch.
Step 1. Log in to the switch configuration utility and choose Administration > Reboot. The Reboot page opens:
Step 2. Click Reboot to Factory Defaults and the Confirm Reboot page opens:
