Idle Session Timeout Configuration on ESW2-350G Switches
This document explains how to configure the idle session timeout for sessions like console, telnet, HTTP on ESW2-350G switch. This feature helps the network administrator to close certain ports after a certain period of time of inactivity, thus adds a security feature by not allowing illegitimate users to gain access over open unattended sessions. This will help in preventing security attacks like "session hijack".

Idle Session Timeout Configuration
Step 1. Log in to the switch configuration utility and choose Administration > Idle Session Timeout. The Idle Session Timeout page opens:
