Password Rules Enforcement on RV180 and RV180W
This article explains how to enforce the password rules on RV180 and RV180W routers. User can Enable/Disable the password metering check and also can set the minimum password length using this feature.
Step 1. Use the configuration utility of router to choose Administration > Password Rules which opens the Password Rules page.
Step 2. To enable the password rules, check the Password Rules Enforcement check box. To disable it, uncheck the same. Enabling enforcement will unhide the Individual Rule Settings where minimal password length can be configured.
Step 3. Enter the minimum length of the password required in the Minimal Password Length field.
Step 4. Click Save to save the changes, or click Cancel to revert the changes.
