Accessing Archived JRE Downloads for the Cisco ONS 15454

Introduction

This document describes where you can find previous versions of Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) files and plug-ins. You need these files in order to run Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) software for the Cisco ONS 15454.

The information in this document is based on a Cisco ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1.

Files You Require

As the CTC user documentation states:

• Use JRE 1.2.2_05 if you connect to an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1 or earlier.

• JRE 1.3 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Releases 3.0 through 4.5.

• JRE 1.4 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 4.6 or 4.7.
