Problem Description

When ap373875 is applied on eXtended Service Platform (XSP) R21sp1, all Xsi-Actions and Xsi-Events requests fail with an HTTP 500 internal server error.

Background

Note: This field notice was originally posted in the BroadSoft Xchange portal and has been moved over to Cisco.com as-is for historical purposes.

Problem Symptom

Authentication failure for all clients that use the Xsi Interface and all interactions over the Xsi interface are not available.

Workaround/Solution

BroadWorks patches can now be downloaded through the Cisco Software Download Center after logging in with your Cisco.com (CCO) account.

The version of BroadWorks that is currently deployed as well as the patches currently activated can be checked by executing the get versions all command from the CLI. More information on how to check the patch level can be found in the Cisco BroadWorks Maintenance Guide.

Workaround

Temporarily remove the AP.xsp.21.sp1.551.ap373875 patch.

Patch

Patch AP.xsp.21.sp1.551.ap374122 is now available on Xchange.

Apply AP.xsp.21.sp1.551.ap374122 along with AP.xsp.21.sp1.551.ap373875 in order to resolve this issue.
