CSCur61382 | NFS storage server completely purged unexpectedly
https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCur61382 |
The Cisco WebEx Meetings Server (CWMS) might erroneously unmount the Network File System (NFS) storage under various conditions.
During certain operations, the CWMS initially mounts the NFS datastore to a temporary location. Later, when the CWMS attempts to permanently mount the NFS datastore, the datastore must be unmounted from the temporary location. If the CWMS is unable to complete the permanent mount due to various conditions, such as network outages or high network latency, and if the temporary mount is deleted by an internal CWMS script, the NFS datastore becomes unreachable.
The probability that you will encounter this issue depends on the health and behavior of the network. This issue presents itself in a variety of symptoms:
Temporary Workaround
If the system cannot be upgraded per the instructions described in the Permanent Solution section, then ensure that the NFS datastore is backed up regularly. Should the CWMS encounter the issue described in this notice, you can restore the files from the NFS datastore backup location.
Permanent Solution
This issue is resolved in later software versions. Registered and entitled users can download these upgrades:
