Several severe outstanding defects in the c6ace-t1k9-mz.3.0.0_A1_6_2 release have been resolved in the c6ace-t1k9-mz.3.0.0_A1_6_2a release. Cisco has removed the c6ace-t1k9-mz.3.0.0_A1_6_2 release from CCO.
Cisco has discovered that several severe defects in the area of correctly handling TCP flows are present in the 3.0.0_A1_6_2 release. Cisco has addressed these issues in the 3.0.0_A1_6_2a release has decided to remove the 3.0.0_A1_6_2 release from CCO.
Users may encounter the following issues when running version 3.0.0_A1_6_2:
Not all RHI routes are in the MSFC routing table after a ft failover. TCP:RTO doesnt fire in some conditions. ACE does not always go into fast recovery retransmit when needed. ACE will not honor a RST with Data even if a FIN was previously seen.To resolve these potential issues you will need to download and install software version c6ace-t1k9-mz.3.0.0_A1_6_2a.bin or the .zip version which can be found here - http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cat6500-ace.
