Cisco MeetingPlace Server (PCI)
Large meetings with many users joining and leaving at the same time can cause server to restart. The same issue can occur when many users leave at the same time. You will see the following alarm in the log:
08/27 10:25:26 MAJ 0x70041 0/2, "siupdown.cc", 302 (0x5, 0, 0, 0)
Restarting due to software module failure, module = 5
This hot fix should be applied to all PCI servers hosting large meetings where web conference attendance plus voice attendance equal 120 ports or more.
When the server restarts, all meeting attendees are disconnected.
A ConfSchd hot fix for 4.3.1e is available. Contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center to apply this hot fix.
