This documents describes MethodS that Cisco Voice Portal (CVP) uses when send Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) invite for different call legs.
There are no specific requirements for this document.
Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) 11.6
Cisco Virtualized Voice Browser (VVB) 11.6
In the lab, use comphresive call flow to test.
When incoming leg uses SIP Early Offer to CVP, then CVP sends SIP Early offer in VRU Leg.
After CVP receives agent label, CVP always use delay offer to send SIP invite in ring tone leg.
In CVP call server, C:\Cisco\CVP\conf\sip.properties, the parameter SIP.EarlyOfferSupport can be ture or false.
By default, this value is true:
SIP.EarlyOfferSupport = true
a. Ingress call leg uses SIP Early offer iinvite to CVP
b. SIP.EarlyOfferSupport = true
c. No whisper enabled
Note: If these conditions are not met, CVP uses SIP Delay offer to send INVITE for agent call leg.
When whisper is enabled, CVP uses Delay offer to send Re-Invite to ingress leg when CVP connects ingress gateway to agent.
Other Re-invite to ingress gateway, CVP uses Early offer.
This happens when ingress gateway uses elary offer and connects to agent, as shown in this image.
When ingress gateway uses delay offer, CVP sends one re-inivte to ingress gateway.
Summary SIP invite method as shown in this image:
