A vulnerability in the web framework of Cisco Prime Central for Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) Assurance could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive information on the system.
The vulnerability is due to improper user authentication and inadequate session management. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted HTTP request to the web user interface. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may reveal sensitive information, including user credentials. Cisco has released a free software update that addresses this vulnerability. There are currently no workarounds that mitigate this vulnerability. This advisory is available at the following link:

Cisco Prime Central for HCS Assurance provides assurance functionality for the HCS solution to help service providers simplify the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS).
A vulnerability in the web framework of Cisco Prime Central for HCS Assurance could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive information on the system, including user credentials.
The vulnerability is due to improper user authentication and inadequate session management. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted HTTP request to the web user interface.
Cisco Prime Central for HCS Assurance allows HTTPS connections from external web clients on TCP ports 8443 and 9090.
This vulnerability is documented in Cisco bug ID CSCud32600 (registered customers only) and has been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) ID CVE-2013-3473.

Cisco has fixed this issue in the Cisco Prime Central for HCS Assurance version 9.1.1.
When considering software upgrades, customers are advised to consult the Cisco Security Advisories, Responses, and Notices archive at http://www.cisco.com/go/psirt and review subsequent advisories to determine exposure and a complete upgrade solution.In all cases, customers should ensure that the devices to be upgraded contain sufficient memory and confirm that current hardware and software configurations will continue to be supported properly by the new release. If the information is not clear, customers are advised to contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or their contracted maintenance providers.
