Introduction
This document describes what to do if the status on the TelePresence Server shows "Connection failed".
What does the "Connection failed" status on a TelePresence Server mean and how do you recover it?
This status means that the TelePresence Server is unable to connect to the Conference controller.

There are a number of reasons why you might see the Connection failed status, such as:
- A network problem between the two TelePresence Servers.
- The HTTP/HTTPS service on the controlled TelePresence Server is not enabled.
- The TelePresence Server that is being controlled is down or in a shutdown state.
- There is a mismatch between the two devices; for example, if the Conference controller tries to control a TelePresence Server that is also configured as a Conference controller.
In order to instigate a recovery of the connection, click Retry Connections. If this does not work, check the network and the status of the TelePresence Server that is being controlled.
