This document describes how to disable the HTTP and HTTPS service on a Cisco TelePresence Server that is controlled by a conference controller.
Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of the Cisco TelePresence Server.
The information in this document is based on the Cisco TelePresence Server.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Disable the HTPP and HTTPS Service
You must deactivate any relationship between the conference controller and the Cisco TelePresence Servers that it controls before you disable the HTTP and HTTPS services on the controlled devices. Complete these steps in order to deactivate the relationships between the conference controller and the Cisco TelePresence Servers and in order to deactivate the HTTP and HTTPS services:
- Log into the conference controller TelePresence Server and navigate to TelePresence Servers > server_name > Configuration.
- Uncheck the Enable checkbox and click Update TelePresence Server in order to disable the connection.
- Log into the controlled TelePresence Server and navigate to Network > Services.
- Disable the HTTP and HTTPS services as required. Alternatively, you can connect via the serial console and enter the service 0 http disable command in order to disable HTTP on port A.
