Introduction
This document describes which blades can be clustered in the Cisco TelePresence Mobility Service Engine (MSE) 8000 chassis.
Which MSE 8000 blades can be used in the blade cluster?
You can cluster up to three MSE 8510 blades, if they all run Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) Version 4.1 or later. You can cluster up to three MSE 8710 blades, if they all run TelePresence Server Version 2.1, or up to four blades if they all run Version 2.2. You can house more than one cluster in a chassis, alongside standalone blades or other clusters, provided that you do not use slot 10 for any clustered blade. The Cisco TelePresence Supervisor MSE 8050 blade must be in slot one and the other nine slots can be used for any other types of MSE 8000 blades.
Tip: See "Understanding Clustering" in the online help for more information.
