This document describes use of the 1-off debugging .dll files that Cisco Support might provide in order to troubleshoot an issue.
Where do I apply a 1-off debugging .dll file when I troubleshoot ODBC issues on Microsoft Windows?
If you are given a 1-off .dll file from Support to test on your client host, you will need to manually place this file in the Microsoft Windows install. The test driver might not be in the form of an installable hotfix.
For 32-bit windows platforms: save the 1-off 32-bit driver files, compositeAB.dll and compositeAB_2x.dll, to %WINDIR%\system32.
For 64-bit windows platforms: save the 64-bit driver compositeAB_X64.dll file to %WINDIR%\system32, or save the 32-bit driver files, compositeAB.dll and compositeAB_2x.dll, to %WINDIR%\sysWOW64 (if you purposely run 32-bit client tools on 64-bit Windows).
