The M2814 Compute Cartridge is part of a growing line of computing options for the Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis. With the new M2814 and Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis, Cisco brings high core counts and memory expansion to a high-density, low-power, scale-out deployment model.

The unique design of the M4308 chassis abstracts server subsystems to efficiently provide power, cooling, I/O, and local storage resources to dense M-Series computing cartridges. With this groundbreaking design, the Cisco UCS M-Series provides a dense and power-efficient platform designed to increase compute capacity per rack unit (RU).

The M4308 chassis can hold up to four dual-socket M2814 Compute Cartridges. The M4308 chassis connects to a pair of Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects, providing ease of scalability and industry-leading Cisco UCS management.
