Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the 128 MB DRAM Memory Spare for NPE-400 in Cisco 7200 Series. The last day to order the 128 MB DRAM Memory Spare for NPE-400 in Cisco 7200 Series is August 13, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the 128 MB DRAM Memory for NPE-400 in Cisco 7200 Series. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

Product Migration Options
As of September 30, 2005, the NPE-400 Network Processing Engine is being shipped with 256 MB DRAM Memory by default instead of 128 MB DRAM Memory. For your installed base, customers are encouraged to migrate to the 256 MB DRAM Memory for the NPE-400 for the Cisco 7200VXR Series. Information about this product can be found at:
