® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Select CiscoView Device Managers 1.0 and 1.1. This end-of-sale and end-of life affects CiscoView Device Manager products for the following devices, see details in table 2:
• Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch
• Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series SSL Services Module
• Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series WebVPN Services Module
• Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series IPSec VPN Services Module
The following CiscoView Device Manager products for the following devices are not discontinued and remain available:
• Cisco Content Switching Module
• Cisco Content Service Switch
The last day to order the Select CiscoView Device Managers 1.0 and 1.1 is June 20, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Select CiscoView Device Managers 1.0 and 1.1. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

It is advised to contact Cisco sales channels to obtain information on replacement products.
Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Plan (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, go to

Customers may be able to continue to purchase the end-of-sale product through Cisco's Authorized Refurbished Equipment program.
