Cisco Completes the sli.do s.r.o. Acquisition

Delivering a best-in-class audience engagement experience to the Webex Meeting Platform, giving everyone the opportunity to be heard.

Overview

SAN JOSE, Calif. – May 3, 2021 – Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO)

Today Cisco is excited to announce the completion of the sli.do s.r.o. acquisition, a technology company headquartered in Bratislava, Slovakia. Cisco Webex will soon offer a best-in-class audience engagement platform that significantly heightens participant engagement before, during and after meetings and events, across in-person and virtual audiences.

In today’s work environment, it has never been more important to connect and collaborate, no matter how, where or when we work together, in real-time or anytime. That is why we are focused on creating a Webex experience that’s 10X better than in-person interactions.

With Slido technology integrated into the Webex Meeting platform, meeting and event hosts will have the ability to:

  • Increase the interactivity of their meetings and events by polling audiences in advance before, in real-time during and or afterwards, to glean insights and intelligence and communicate them in real-time via graphic visualizations like word clouds and graphs;
  • Crowdsource the best questions from their audience before and during events and meetings, making everyone part of the conversation; and
  • Understand and discover topics that resonate with their audiences.
