Defining MAC-based ACLs
MAC-based ACLs are used to filter traffic based on L2 fields. MAC-based ACLs check all frames for a match.
MAC-based ACLs and their ACEs are defined in the MAC-based ACL Page. An ACE can only be added if the ACL is not yet bound to an interface.
Creating a MAC-based ACL
To define a MAC-based ACL:
Click Access Control > MAC Based ACL. The MAC-based ACL Page opens.
This page displays a list of all currently-defined MAC-based ACLs.
NOTE To add rules to MAC-based ACLs use the MAC-based ACL Page.
Click Add in the MAC-based ACL Page. The Add MAC-based ACL Page opens.
Enter the name of the new ACL in the ACL Name field.
