Security Recognized Program for Partners

The Security Partner "Recognized" Program provides training to empower partners to successfully sell Cisco Security Solutions. The training curriculum includes courses that focus on two main areas: 1) Sales and 2) Technical.

Sales Training:

• 14 training courses to complete.
• Typically, each course contains two modules.
• Content covered includes: Product introduction and Sales positioning.
• Pass all 14 COLT assessments with a score of 70% or greater.
• Achieve Partner Recognized Security Sales Representative (Cisco-PRSSR).
• If you have expert knowledge on a given technology, take the assessment first to test out of course.

Technical Training:

• 14 training courses to complete.
• Typically, each course contains eight modules.
• First two modules cover: Product introduction and Sales positioning.
• Additional six modules cover: Demonstration, Management, Design and Proof of Value.
• Pass all 14 COLT assessments with a score of 70% or greater.
• Achieve Partner Recognized Consulting Security Engineer (Cisco-PRCSE).
• If you have expert knowledge on a given technology, take the assessment first to test out of course.

How to Register:

1. Log into PEC: http://cisco.partnerelearning.com/Saba/Web/Main
2. Use the curricula links below, or search for "Security Partner Recognized Program":
      a. BDM Training
      b. SE training
3. Click the "Register" button located in upper right-hand corner
4. Once registered, use the "Action" drop down to "Launch" the course
5. View courses and take Associated COLT exams to obtain completion credit and become "Recognized"
