  • Who is eligible to participate in this promotion?
  • All Cisco Premier, Silver, Gold, and Master Partners in good standing who possess at least one Architecture Specialization, and who register for this promotion by July 28th, 2012 are eligible for participation.
  • I have a technology Specialization. Is that the same as an Architecture Specialization?
  • No, only the Architecture Specializations listed here apply to this promotion:
    - Advanced Borderless Network Architecture
    - Advanced Collaboration Architecture
    - Advanced Data Center Architecture
    - Advanced IP NGN Architecture
  • Where can I learn more about the Architecture Specializations for Partners?
  • To learn more about Architecture Specializations, please click here.
  • Can one company (e.g. a large multinational Partner) which is an authorized Cisco Premier, Silver or Gold Partner in multiple countries register for this promotion in each country where they have their Cisco Partner Status?
  • Yes, as long as each partner location applying has their own partner status with Cisco as a Premier, Silver or Gold Partner. Branch locations of Premier, Silver or Gold Partners are not eligible if the main entity with the Cisco Partner status has already applied.
  • How is the training for qualified partners funded by Cisco?
  • Cisco will provide approved partners with Cisco Learning Credits.
  • How many EASE Cisco Learning Credits (CLCs) will I receive if I qualify under this promotion?
  • Qualified and approved partners will receive $700 in CLCs per person, for up to 10 different people.
  • I have less than 10 sales people that would need this type of training. Can I still get the maximum CLC value per partner for this promotion?
  • No, partners must list all qualified individuals at the time of application, and CLCs will be provided for only those individuals.
  • We have used CLCs in the past. Are EASE CLCs the same as other CLCs we have used in the past?
  • No, EASE CLCs are only redeemable for attendance at an EASE course delivered by a Cisco Business Acceleration Learning Partner. They cannot be redeemed for other types of training or training by other providers.
  • Will my company earn more EASE CLCs for each additional Architecture Specialization we possess?
  • No, only one distribution of CLCs per partner will be awarded under this promotion.
  • How will partners know if they have earned any EASE CLCs under this promotion?
  • After July 28th, Cisco will begin the process of verifying the partners that have qualified for EASE CLCs under this promotion. Notification of partners who have earned CLCs will begin on August 1, 2012. Distribution of EASE CLCs will begin shortly thereafter.
  • Will the partner receive EASE CLCs individually for each sales representative in their company?
  • No, the total CLC value the partner qualifies for will be given as one amount. Remember that the EASE CLCs are awarded to the partner company, not directly to the individual sales representative.
  • When partners receive confirmation that they are qualified for EASE CLCs after August 1st, must the partners wait for the CLCs to be distributed to them before they attend the training, or are they allowed to start the process of training before receiving the EASE CLCs?
  • Partners have the ability to begin registering for training whenever the partner is ready to do so. The EASE CLCs are not required to begin training. However, scheduling and attending an approved EASE course in no way guarantees that the partner will receive EASE CLCs. Partners who decide to register to attend training before being officially approved by Cisco to receive EASE CLCs under this promotion should be prepared to provide payment for the training in another form. For this reason, it may be advantageous to wait for confirmed EASE approval.
  • The course we wish to attend costs more than the value of the EASE CLCs we were/will be given. Who is responsible for the remaining cost per student?
  • Any and all costs for attending an EASE course above the value of the EASE CLCs provided is the sole responsibility of the partner or attendee.
  • Can I combine another payment method with EASE CLCs to pay for one student if the cost is greater than the value of one EASE CLC?
  • Yes, CLCs may be combined with another payment method.
  • How do I sign up for the training under this promotion?
  • Please contact the Cisco Business Acceleration Partner listed in the course description you are interested in to register for the training. You can review courses available by clicking here. Cisco reserves the right to add courses as needed to enhance the EASE promotion.
