Thanks to In-Store Mobile Voice solutions from Cisco, employees can now stay on the sales floor with customers to provide immediate assistance and enhance the in-store shopping experience.

Cisco In-Store Mobile Voice includes a number of innovative features from a range of partners--such as the Berbee PushToTalk application--which provides simple two-way paging between Cisco Unified IP Phones and Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phones. With PushToTalk, store employees can communicate instantly with predetermined or ad-hoc groups of colleagues at the push of a button. In addition to providing caller ID capabilities, Push to Talk also allows staff to take incoming phone calls and rejoin their PushToTalk conversation when that call ends.

Cisco is also working with third-party device vendors to enable retailers to extend unified communications capabilities to their employees, regardless of which handheld device or network they use.
