Current Cisco product certifications and validations for US Army Infrastructure Assurance [AIAAPL] and NATO evaluation programs are listed below.

NSTISSP #11, a national security community policy governing the acquisition of information assurance (IA) and IA enabled information technology products, states that Information Assurance (IA) shall be considered as a requirement for all systems used to enter, process, store, display, or transmit national security information. The AIAAPL is owned and maintained by the Army's Office of Information Assurance and Compliance (OIA&C).

Testing required to get products on the AIAAPL can be performed in any approved lab.  Testing requires a FIPS certificate for the product (if encryption is used) and the product must be in process for Common Criteria evaluation.
