Due to changes in the business climate of the Type 1 encryption market space, Cisco has elected at this time to discontinue its development of its Type 1 encryption product family, the Cisco 5700 Series that included the Cisco 5720 (KG-275B), Cisco 5740 (KG-275C) and Cisco 5750 (KG-275A).
Cisco remains committed to meeting the secure networking requirements and appropriate future security solutions of the US Defense and Intelligence communities. Our continuing commitment to security certification through FIPS and NIAP will provide government customers with approved COTS solutions for network deployments and leveraging our external partners will ensure all customer requirements can be fulfilled. These COTS solutions will continue to be designed specifically for government customers.
